Pro Care Health Plan, Inc.  (Pro Care) Clinical Practice Guidelines. The Michigan Quality Improvement Consortium (MQIC) distributed these guidelines.  The guidelines were developed in collaboration with Michigan Department of Community Health, Michigan State Medical Society, Michigan Peer Review Organization, Michigan Association of Health Plans, multiple Medicaid and Commercial Health Plans and other organizations.  The guidelines are evidence-based guidelines that are based on recognized sources.

Pro Care along with the above organizations has adopted these guidelines.  The Quality Improvement Committee of Pro Care has reviewed these guidelines and has accepted them as written.   Pro Care is requesting that you use these guidelines when providing care and service for your members. We are requesting that the guidelines are implemented as soon as possible.

As part of the requirements to meet state regulations, members of the Quality Improvement Department will review your medical records throughout the year to determine compliance with these guidelines.
